"Midnight Navy/Safety Orange" Share This Spring 2026-Ready Nike Air Max Plus

Sean McDowell's Nike Air Max Plus design from 1998 continues to enjoy a healthy number of ensembles despite launching over 25 years ago.

With 2026 inching closer, the silhouette has emerged in a plethora of styles that aim to reaffirm its popularity in the lead up to its 30th anniversary in 2028. The latest ensemble sees a "Midnight Navy/Midnight Navy/Ashen Slate/Safety Orange" color scheme that resembles some offerings from the past. The bulk of McDowell's design sees dark shades of blue, although Nike-friendly orange delivers stark contrast via branding elements, mid-foot shanks, and the Air Max-assisted cushioning solution underfoot. Palm tree-inspired TPU overlays along the profiles indulges in shimmering platinum finishes.
