This Nike Air Max Plus Is Ready for the Bengals' 2026 NFL Season

NIKE, Inc. has an official merchandise agreement with the National Football League (NFL). Last year, the partnership produced dozens of apparel, accessories, and footwear styles for fans from all 32 teams. Some product produced has been unofficial collaborations, but it's still deserving of some NFL-related nickname.

Case in point?: A Nike Air Max Plus appropriate of a Cincinnati Bengals-connection.

Officially clad in a "Picante Red/Black" color scheme, the sneaker evokes images of Joe Burrow and company suited up in orange-and-black. The Cincinnati-based franchise doesn't always wear its orange-heavy uniform, but its "B" logo and helmet match the newly-surfaced Air Max perfectly.

"Picante Red" animates the bulk of the sneaker's build, with a "Black" gradient finish appearing from mid-foot to heel, taking over TPU overlays and mesh bases in the process. The whale tail-shaped shank underfoot follows suit, while the Tuned Air and Air Max units also favor a pitch-dark makeup that allows for the orange-like red throughout the sneaker to revel in the spotlight.
