From its humble beginnings at a runner’s delight to its prominent rise to streetwear staple, the Nike Air Max Plus has tickled just about everyone’s tastebuds over its 21-year history. And now we see a fresh new colorway join it’s seemingly endless lineup, arriving in a very unique University Red/Dark Grey combo.

While the palate is nothing new, this makeup adds something a little different to the Tn catalog. Starting out with a red mesh upper, the pair’s plastic cage overlays arrive in a gunmetal grey. Typically, the leather overlays would match, but here the pair has delivered a tonal shade of red to mimic the mesh, with the color continuing to the heels, tongues and sole unit. The latter arrives uniquely blocked, featuring blacks of white midsole, with the heel and toe in red. A speckled grey/red gradient midfoot shank only adds to the intrigue, and bold white Swooshes, grey Air Units, and red rubber outsoles complete the design.
