First Looks // Nike Air Max Plus Toggle "Black Reflective"
As autumn approaches, Nike unveils a new colorway of its Air Max Plus, featuring a toggle lacing system tailored for the cooler months. The design exhibits a unique blend of functionality and style, making it a standout choice for the upcoming season.
The mesh upper sports a gradient texture, adding both breathability and a visual pop. Underneath this lies a reflective layer that catches light subtly yet noticeably. The mudguards and heel overlays deviate from the norm by employing supple, smooth leather, lending a touch of luxury to the shoe's overall robust look.
Traditional vein overlays take a backseat to a more subdued, glazed-on print, harmonizing with the shoe's design without overshadowing it. But it's defining feature is the toggle lacing system, which extends its reach down to the mudguard and is secured at the tongue's tip. Silver Air supports and a midfoot Swoosh punctuates the subdued colorway with glints of brightness.
While the release date remains unconfirmed, this new Air Max Plus iteration is expected to hit select retailers and Nike's official website in the coming months—just in time for fall.
