Themed packs continue to play a significant role in Nike’s mainline release schedule, all of which often include staple silhouettes and a token Air Max inclusion. The next pack to appear does just that, with the upcoming Nike “Topography Pack” inclusive of the Nike Blazer, Air Max Plus 3, Air Force 1 Low — and now, the original Air Max Plus.
Differing from the three aforementioned, the Air Max Plus “Topography” comes anchored in an opposing black, though it still retains the pack’s other running consistencies. Uppers, like the collection’s TN3, is dressed completely in the mapping graphic, while accents of blood-red flow through the pair’s accents. Midfoot Swooshes, tongue detailing and Air supports all feature the claret color, with everything else — save the metallic midfoot shank — all arriving in jet black. Subtly, each overlaying feature is finished in a different way, with nylon at the heel, smooth leather at the tongue, lightly tumbled leather mudguards, and hi-sheen plastics at the toe and caging.
A Nike.com release has not yet been confirmed, though with imagery of collection materializing over the past few days, you should expect to see both more additions and more information on its release in the very near future.
