The Nike Air Max Plus “Tuned” Heats Up in Sunset Hues

The Nike Air Max Plus has always been a silhouette for the bold—and Nike continues to push that ethos with its latest colorway for the “Tuned” edition, arriving in a striking black base with fiery orange and yellow gradients as an ode to the OG "Sunset" colorway.

Reimagining the late-’90s icon with a head-turning twist, this version retains the oversized “TUNED” and “AIR” lettering across the mesh upper. But what sets this pair apart is its energetic sunset-like palette, transitioning from yellow at the toe to deep orange along the heel. Black plastic overlays and a matching midsole help ground the bold design, while pops of yellow on the mini Swoosh, eyelets, and toggled speed lacing system bring added contrast.

Despite the graphic overhaul, Nike keeps the essentials intact—Tuned Air cushioning underfoot, a durable mesh upper, and the signature TPU cage that defined the model over two decades ago.

Expect the Nike Air Max Plus “Tuned” to land at select retailers and Nike.com during Fall 2025.
