The Air Max Plus is, of Course, the Boldest of the French-Themed Nikes for the FIFA World Cup

Nike’s entire FIFA-themed pack of Women’s exclusives has just leaked online. A pack that consists of the previously previewed Air Max 98 and Air Jordan 1are now joined by another Air Max 98, an Air VaporMax 2019, a Zoom 2K, React Element 55s and these Air Max Plus’ — all surfacing online earlier today.

Celebrating the 2019 FIFA World Cup host nation and Swoosh-sponsored France, all pairings take inspiration from the ladies all-new alternate uniforms (pictured further below), which feature an all-over navy polka dot print on white, seen here on the Air Max Plus‘ forefoot, tongue, and insoles, which have been modified to hexagon shapes, paying tribute to the shapes found on a traditional soccer ball. Fine stripes can be seen towards the heels, with bolder strokes on the profile. The iconic French Footballing phrase featured on both the men and women’s uniforms, Nos Differences Nous Unissent — translating to Our Differences Unite Us — is split across the medial tab detail, and completing the link-in to the French kits are oversized bronze “TN” glazed on the tongues, red accents on the tongues and Air Unit and a French flag gradient on the midfoot shank.
