Nike’s Air Max Tailwind IV is celebrating its 20th Birthday in 2019 – and it’s bringing along OGs and new colorways alike.
The Swoosh brand’s partnership with Supreme on the 1999 Air Max classic undoubtedly injected some new life back into the silhouette, which has been missing from shelves for too many years to count. The OG heads celebrated the return of it’s “Volt” makeup — one of the very first Tailwind IVs to ever release, and newcomers are falling in love with fresh new colorways like this Ghost Aqua/Red Orbit offering.
The OG is served in a classic 90s mix of white leather and mesh, the pair is given a modern-day pep-up with grey leather overlays and vibrant splashed of Orbit Red throughout. The centerpiece, a bold red-to-white gradient midfoot steals the show, playing perfectly off the subtle contrasts of the upper’s white and grey.
