Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus “Anthracite” Arrives October 28th
Sustainable sneakers are no longer a novelty; in fact, it has become normality amongst leading footwear brands like Nike who have turned their classic models into recycled wonders. The newest Earth-friendly campaign kicked off by the Swoosh is their “Terrascape” series, a collection of classic Air Max silhouettes redesigned in utilitarian fashion and retooled in recycled materials. Now, after being revealed in two debut options, a third colorways of the Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus has appeared — this one in Black and Barely Volt.
Though the silhouette retains its signature aggressive shape, there are obvious alterations to its overlays. The typically thin vein overlays are replaced with a thickset, sturdy cage that is not too dissimilar to that found on the VaporMax Plus. Heel and toe overlays change shape, too, with the former reaching a tad further around to the profile side, and the toe’s plastic replaced with a shorter textile tact. The pair also arrives with ripstop uppers, extra mesh netting ad the midfoot, and altered TN logos throughout. Color-wise, the pair arrives entirely in tonal blacks and charcoals save a handful of Barely Volt pops, including oversized forefoot Swooshes, eyestays, and tongue and heel branding.
