Nike’s Air Max series has lent itself to experimental designs over the years, with the design team chasing a futuristic feel more often than not. And while each pair from this upcoming “Throwback Future” pack is distinctly different, they all fit the exploratory Air Max mold.
The pack boasts a series of black or blue-based iridescent colorways to amplify each unique design. Courtney Dailey, Nike VP of Color Design explains: “Our more expressive Air Max models shine with more expressive colorways. We use color to show off a shoe’s technology and balance that with foundational grays and blacks.”
