Pittsburgh Steelers-Friendly Black & Yellow Appear on the Nike Air Max TL 2.5
Nike Sportswear continues to revisit the Air Max TL 2.5 from 2006 in a healthy mix of original and new styles. Ahead of Fall 2025, the silhouette has emerged in a black-and-yellow color scheme.
Akin to other retro looks that've graced the visible Air-cushioned design, the impending ensemble features a pitch-dark tone across the bulk of its presentation. Mesh underlays along the profiles, however, interrupt the rather uniform finish with vibrant "Varsity Maize"-reminiscent flair. Undersides of tongues and profile swooshes follow suit, working in-tandem with Airmax branding and cushioning underfoot to create a compelling, tried-and-proven makeover. Reflective strips around the forefoot and throughout the sides provide another bright element to the sneaker.
Firm Nike.com release details have yet to be confirmed by the brand as of yet, but that's expected to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy detailed shots of the two-tone style ahead, courtesy of JD Sports.
