Scottie Pippen’s Nike Air More Uptempo will get an autumn overhaul this month, with the pair set to tack on a classic wheat and gum colorway — with a twist — to this Nike Air More Uptempo “Quilted”
Clad in simple color blocking, the pair works with an upper entirely of “Wheat,” with midsoles of white, and outsoles of light gum that’s so often seen on autumnal footwear releases. Also common is the pair’s mix of materials across the top, with a simple tumbled leather upper working with staple mesh tongues and nylon pulls. Here, though, the Swoosh has differentiated the release through special quilting detail done atop the profile “AIR” letter overlays — a finish also seen on this recently-revealed Nike DUnk Low.
