Not only will we be treated to a release of Tinker Hatfield’s iconic 1992 Nike Air Raid in it’s OG Black/Grey colorway later this year, but we’ll also be getting arguably its most audacious edition, the “Urban Jungle” (aka “Peace”)
The Air Raid 2-inspired colorway last released back in 2014, though it doesn’t feel that long thanks to a simialrly-themed Air Jordan 8 release just two years back. But now fans of the retro silhouette can rejoice, with it set to return later year in now at least two iconic colorways. Official images of the 2020 release have landed courtesy of US_11, and they show an unadulterated make-up from 2014’s release, with jet black ballistic mesh and grey nubuck overlays hosting a myriad of African-inspired prints and like color pops throughout. Crossover straps are accented with brighter, contrasting hits of yellow stitching and peace symbols, whilst tongue tags, rear pulls and midsole detail completes the design in their signature primary color designs.
