To mark the 20th anniversary of LeBron James’ signature sneaker line, the Swoosh have been proactive in delivering new colorways of his first-edition shoe, from the commemorative “First Game” to the “Purple Suede” PE. The next addition to the collection will be the Nike Air Zoom Generation “Cemented in History” featuring monochrome suedes and nubucks for a top-tier finish.
With the titular hue working the rear end’s supple suede, the toe is countered by a cooling nubuck shade. It’s tongues and toes of suede arrive in similar tones, too, with the greyscale continuing underfoot to sueded midsoles and marbled rubber outsoles. To complete the design, flashes of “Anthracite” trim the toe, heel, eyestays, and minor brand embellishments at the tongue and insole — all of which aim to mimic LeBron's cemented scoring status in the game of basketball.
