Nike will continue their 20th-anniversary celebration of LeBron James’ signature sneaker line with the first-ever retail release of his Nike Air Zoom Generation “Purple Suede” Player Exclusive.

In celebration of the King’s signing in LA, Nike whipped up this pair for LeBron to debut at the 2018 Summer League. At the time, there was plenty of speculation about its release, but nothing resulted. Now, five years later — and to coincide with the silhouette’s 20th anniversary — the Swoosh will release the pair to the public, as per Sole Retriever

Early details are suggesting that a 1:1 remake of the PE is on the cards, with uppers crafted entirely of Court Purple suede, with icy-translucent outsoles underfoot, and chrome hits fluttered throughout.
