Nike Revives the Astrograbber in “Soft Yellow” and “Aluminum” for Fall 2025

Nike is dusting off one of its most niche silhouettes for a quiet revival this fall: the Astrograbber. Once designed as a turf trainer in the '70s, the rarely-seen model returns with a refreshed, lifestyle-first approach in two seasonal colorways.

Headlining the comeback are “Soft Yellow” and “Aluminum” editions, each featuring full nubuck uppers and tonal matching midsoles. The “Soft Yellow” pair pairs its buttery beige upper with stark black Swooshes and trim for contrast, while the “Aluminum” edition delivers a softer look with pastel blue uppers and muted yellow accents on the Swoosh and laces. Underfoot, the Astrograbber’s cleated rubber outsole remains intact, adding both heritage detail and subtle functionality for city wear.

This return marks another move by Nike to reintroduce deep cuts from its archives, giving them a contemporary spin without sacrificing the retro appeal. These Astrograbbers are designed with modern construction in mind but keep the original DNA intact—perfect for collectors or those looking for something under the radar.
