The Nike Blazer Low “1972” is the next in a series of intertwined releases that honor its respective design year through trippy tongue tags, double-Swooshes, and old-school aesthetics.

We’ve seen a handful of these releases throughout 2022, including Nike Dunks and Air Force 1s, with the collection presumably completed with them. But as we approach the end of the calendar year, an new entry has appeared, with this Nike Blazer Low brining all the traits associated with the collection in simple sail and red render. The latter dresses only the Swoosh and heel overlays, with the remainder — save a few pops of black branding — is delivered in tonal cream and sail hues. The psychedelic branding at the tongue and heel continue of from releases before it, while more traditional brandmarks dress the insoles to complete the design.
