Coming off one of the most abundant and successful years in its history, the Nike Blazer has continued on strong into 2020. And after dabbling in experimental options that include canvas, suede, and snakeskin, the silhouette is seemingly going back to basics with yet another colored-Swooshed, white leather option appearing today.
This time around, the classic sneaker is popped with Dark Concord Purple — but it comes with a twist. It arrives as you’d expect; white leather uppers, neutral suede forefoot overlays, sail sole units, eroded branding in the rear, and vintage Nike tags riding the exposed-foam tongues. It’s the latter that is tweaked for a subtle touch of difference, with the foam forgoing the traditional yellow for a vibrant orange, a color that’s matched on the insole Swoosh branding.
