I thought the Overbranded appeal was left back in 2018 — but it appears that Nike didn’t get the memo, with the latest Nike Blazer making a bold, albeit-flipped brand statement. The basic leather-and-suede Blazer is built in black and white, the former hitting the entirely of the upper, tongue, and overlays, with white gracing the laces and sole unit. For there, the retro silhouette gets a handful of contemporary embellishments, including glazed-on profile Swooshes, Volt Check on the tongue and insole, and the focal flipped 1978 Nike motif on the lateral quarter. Elsewhere you’ll find standard inclusions like exposed-foam tongues, heel embroidery, and retro-inspired tongue tags.
A release date for this overbranded Blazer is yet to be revealed, but with official images landing here, you can expect to see a Nike.comrelease occur over the coming weeks. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates. Until then, enjoy a detailed look at the two options below.
Update 07.27.20 A second, white-based option of the flipped-logo Blazer has appeared. It tacks on Navy Swooshes, neutral suede overlays and a reverse Nike logo in a punchy Orange. A release date for the duo is yet to be confirmed, so keep your eye on our official Twitter account for more details.Nike Blazer Mid
