2022 has seen everything from classic Jewel and Jelly Swooshes, to new variations like the “Glitch” and translucent “TPU” Checks fit out the Nike Sportswear range. Now it’s time for an old (but fairly recent) favorite to return, with this Nike Blazer Mid “Chenille Swoosh” bringing back the classic varsity textile in a seasonal ganja green — just a few days after the annual 4/20 celebrations.
Anchored in a simple white leather, the pair’s rear panels, overlays, and titular Check each take on its own respective green hue. The lightest sits atop the forefoot’s suede inclusions, whilst the rear panel looks to a heavy-duty twill in pastel green. The plush, weed-like Swoosh sits along the profile panels as the pair’s champion, with one final splash of green sighted underfoot. Sails of the midsole matty-up to the laces and tongues directly above, the latter fitted with golden-tan tongue tags to complete the desgin.
