The Nike Blazer Mid Appears with Mismatched Red and Royal Checks

The sheer volume of Blazerreleases over the past few years has made it crystal clear that the silhouette is a major contributor to Nike’s lifestyle division’s bottom line. And, although we’ve recently seen colored Swoosh selections dissipate in favor of more experimental options — like the recently-revealed Jumbo editions — it does appear that the brand is going back to basics with the return of classically blocked options — the last three of which have spruiked mismatch-color Swooshes.

Once again its a ladies-exclusive scheme that pairs a staple white leather/grey suede construction with aged-look soles and tongues against solid-color Swooshes. Here, though, the Checks come in alternate hues of royal and red n on the medial and lateral sides respectively. Branding at the tongue is finished with heritage red Checks, while Nike lettering in the back completes the release in black.
