Nike has undoubtedly made bank on its Nike Blazer over the past two years; its resurgence dates back to early 2019 when a three-pack of colored Swoosh options lead to a hefty run of low-cost, easily accessible drops. It’s been included in collaborations, themed releases, and countless material make-overs since, and most recently, has been included in the brand’s Move to Zero initiative. Now the sustainable version of the sneaker has reappeared, with this new Nike Blazer Mid NN “University Blue” the next to carry the torch in the Swoosh’s carbon-friendly collection.
Not much else can be said for a silhouette that we’ve covered so considerably over the past 24 months, though there are some rather minute changes to these than typically seen, including textured leather uppers, striking blue Swooshes and rear panel — the latter featuring debossed branding — and sole units featuring a light flecking of Grind Rubber. The pair is completed by bright white suede toe overlays, and Nike’s signature Move to Zero neon green insoles.
Though a release date did not accompany the official image set below, you should expect to see a rollout of the Nike Blazer Mid “University Blue” hit select retailers in the coming weeks. So while we await further details, grab a quick look at the pair here below and be sure to keep our eyes glued to our official Twitter accountfor updates.
