All-Olive Nike Blazer Adorns Alternating Eyelet Jewels

The Nike Blazercontinues on its merry way deep into 2020 with year another new rendition of the retro hoops shoe — this time incorporating mixed materials and jewel-encrusted hardware.

Though the latter isn’t entirely obvious — nor seemingly fitting to the design — a closer inspection shows that alternating eyelets from the lateral to the medial side and back again display minute yellow, green, and blue gemstones. When considering the remainder of the shoe — a completely olive arrangement in suede, canvas, and leather — it doesn’t seem to connect, yet Nike has found a way to for it to work. Suedes and leather hues marry up nicely, while canvas Checks and nylon tongues oft for something much lighter. The outsole, too, is done up in a green tint to complete the design.
