Since the early 2019 resurgence of the Nike Blazer and its bevy of basic white leather options, the silhouette has slowly tested out new color concepts and material makeups that has lead to a pretty adventurous second half of 2020. From the upcoming “Shanghai” pack to the just-revealed “Topography”, Nike’s in-house design team has explored some pretty unique avenues. The next effort to surface once again shows the sneaker’s versatility, with this Nike Blazer Mid Patch “Dutch Green” donning a construction in which its title is derived. Multiple materials — mostly in shades of green — make up each and every panel. Uppers are split between a heavy-duty mesh and a check textile, while overlays arrive in suede, leather, and corduroy. The latter returns at the rear tab, while tongues are split between distinct check fabrics, and toes resort to a durable ballistic mesh. Completing the design is a standard sail sole unit, and branding popped with a heritage orange Swoosh.
