Nike Celebrate China’s Biggest City with Two Blazer Mid “Shanghai” Sneakers

The city of Shanghai is one of the busiest in the world, which is why this previously previewed, ultra-hectic Nike Blazer Midwas a fitting tribute to the city. But now it appears that the pair will be joined by two more district-dedicated drops, and they once again take shape on the retro hoops classic. This time around, the duo of “Shanghai” Nike Blazer Mids brings a whole new design but keeps the colorful aesthetic. Both pairs arrive anchored in bone leathers, with neutral suede eyelet overlays, grey suedes at the toe, white midsoles, and translucent blue outsoles. In fact, not much changed at all except the color of the Swoosh overlays.

The first pair dons a combination of orange and green, while the second pairs pink and burnt orange. Both feature a cracked texture on the lateral side, while the medial Check arrives in a heavily tumbled fashion. Both pairs set their Swooshes atop skewed Swoosh print in blue, and each comes complete with special shoutouts to the city, including “沪” motifs (which translates to the “Shanghai, China”) at the tongue and insole, and latitude/longitude digits for the city’s location on the lateral midsole.
