Over the past few years, the Nike Blazer has recently been exploring some diverse themes and materials. From Rock ‘n’ Roll-inspired releases to washed denim and woven hemp textile, the Swoosh has been putting the emphasis on the lifestyle side of things. But as we enter Summer 2022, Nike will reinstate the classic “Color Swoosh” blocking, as it prepares the first of a few white-based, gum-soled releases for the season — starting with this number in white and orange.
Employing a staple all-white leather construct, the pair is met by tonal liners, laces, and tongues, before neutral suedes at the toe link in with off-white midsoles to its inferior; Under that sits a simple gum rubber tread. Back up top, the pair presents heritage Nike orange hues at the Swoosh and heel panels, as well as the tongue and insole motifs to complete the design.
