When it comes to the world’s most popular sneaker brand, the undisputed champion is the Swoosh. With classic models like the Air Force 1, Dunk, and Blazer continuing to run the game, it’s safe to say that the brand will be king of the hill for a while to come. Now Nike will be celebrating these three legendary silhouettes with a special-edition pack — this Nike Blazer Mid “World Champ” the next release of the series to surface.
Like the others from the pack, the Blazer also dons wrestling belt-inspired lace bling, before adding premium finishes to a clean black leather base. Here, it’s cracked leather Checks, worn-look suede toe overlays, and striking pops of purple along the edges of the aforementioned Swoosh and liners. Metallic gold branding is fixed at the tongue, with patent leather rear panels, white rubber midsoles, and purple herringbone outsoles rounding out the design.
Grab a very first look at the Nike Blazer Mid “World Champ” here below, and look for these to land at select Swoosh stockists and Nike.com sometime throughout 2022.
The collection will also include this Air Force 1, and the just-revealed Nike Dunk Low.
