Devin Booker’s Nike Book 2 is heading to Detroit for inspiration, with the upcoming “Iron Fist” colorway drawing from one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks.
The pair is inspired by Detroit’s Monument to Joe Louis, better known as “The Fist.” Created by artist Robert Graham and unveiled downtown in 1986, the sculpture stands at the corner of Jefferson and Woodward as a tribute to heavyweight boxing champion Joe Louis.
Nike translates the theme through a predominantly metallic silver Book 2, covering its molded upper in a reflective finish while adding chrome-like Swooshes along the sides. Black laces and striped pull tabs provide contrast, while an icy translucent outsole keeps the metallic look going underneath.

The Detroit connection becomes more direct inside the shoe, where the insoles feature a detailed map of the city, including neighborhoods and streets surrounding downtown Detroit. “CHAPTER TWO” branding also runs vertically along the heel pull tabs, tying the storytelling back to Booker’s second signature model.
Underneath the special treatment is the standard Book 2 performance setup, including a forefoot Air Zoom unit, Cushlon 3.0 cushioning and a plush foam sockliner within the model’s low-profile build.
The Nike Book 2 “Iron Fist” is currently scheduled to release on September 2, 2026, with men’s pairs priced at $145.
