Though the day has come and gone, August 8th’s annual “SNKRS Day” is a gift that keeps on giving — for our Korean friends, at least. With a special-edition Air Jordan 1 Low landing soon, the Swoosh has unveiled a second sneaker release: the Nike Cortez “SNKRS Day”
Borrowing a similar theme of brown, grey, and gold, te pair proffers a premium sail leather upper and two-tone suede overlays. Buttery chocolate leathers dress the Swoosh and heel overlays, the latter embossed with a Swoosh-struck oriental magpie akin to that seen on the aforementioned Air Force 1. Insoles and midsole detail arrive in a greeny-gold finish, with pure white sole units completing the design.
