The Nike Dunk High “Plaid” Drops January 18

Plaid and Tartan are taking over staple Nike Sportswear silhouettes this season, with everything from the Air Force 1 Low to the Nike Dunk Low boasting the traditional woven textile. The pairs started out in festive tartan colors, before recently migrating to tonal plaid approaches more fitting for the Fall. This new Nike Dunk High “Plaid” does just that, ditching the holiday reds and greens, instead opting for tonal green hues.

Anchored by a solid white sole unit, the pair’s GS version looks to a neutral suede upper, whilst the adults option arrives in a ribbed white canvas. From there, the pair deploys the titular textile at the heel, with shades of green working from one end of the spectrum to the other. Its forefoot and Swoosh overlays settle on simple smooth leathers of a pastel coloration, with laces, liners, and tongues following suit.

Hinting at an impending Nike.com release soon, official images of this new Nike Dunk High “Plaid” have landed. Given the timing of the pair’s official looks, one would suggest that an autumn release is on the cards.
