Following special-edition releases of the Nike Air Trainer 1 and Air Force 1 Low earlier this month, Nike will continue its celebration of Latin heritage month with four themed releases for next month’s Día de Muertos, including this Nike Dunk High “Somos Familia”

Honing in on traditional prints and decoration, the pair is entered around a split-blocked canvas upper — though it’s not a typical medial/lateral tooling. Instead, the right side of each shoe sports a jet black textile upper complete with decorative light tan thread, while the left leans towards a little more flair, with an earthy light brown trimmed with green and gold. Lightly-tumbled leather overlays look to light orange, whilst its Suede Swooshes settle on soft suedes in a richer hue; both colors converge on the pair’s added heel and tongue ribbon detail. There are finer, less obvious finishes fluttered throughout, including tack stitching on the forefoot, pack-specific motifs on the lateral wall, and altered collar quilting, too. The pair is then completed by a classic white and gum sole unit underfoot.

The pair is expected to release alongside an accompanying Air Max 1 and a second Air Force 1 Low.
