It’s been no secret that Nike has been looking far and wide for inspiration for its Nike Dunk; but this next effort is literally out of this world.

A first look at the Nike Dunk Low “Martian” will give you a fair idea of why it’s nicknamed that; the crater-covered red leather uppers and spaceship-inspired Swooshes and rear overlays of chrome — but the dead giveaway is a character martian on the tongue and insole. Further details include a set of stark black leather overlays surrounding the red planet-inspired upper, reworked branding in the back, and contrast-stitched red and white sole units underfoot.
