A Second Nike Dunk Low “Velcro Tongue” Surfaces

Currently, at the absolute peak of popularity, the Nike Dunk Low has seemingly exhausted every color combination. To keep it feeling fresh, the Swoosh has found new ways to reinterpret the model, from straight-up “Reverse” colorways to pairs that come constructed in Velvetand Fleece. For its newest design, Nike has tacked on a handful of new features like removable Velcro tongue tags and wear-away Swooshes to a fairly straightforward leather construct.

At its core, this new Nike Dunk Low is basic; Smooth leather constructs are carried throughout the pair is simple color blocking. Its hues of beige and muted brown are nothing new either, having recently surfaced in inverse blocking on the Nike Dunk Low ‘Mocha.” What is different, though, is the pair’s aforementioned add-ons, as well as an atypical use of Barely Green on the outsole. That hue is not standalone, though, as the Swooshes and heel overlays wear away to reveal panels of matching green — so too is the tongue’s embroidered motif.

Though a release date for this all-new Nike Dunk Low “Velcro Tongue” is not yet known, it is expected to arrive soon. Until more details emerge, you can enjoy a very first look at the pair here below, and as always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates on its release.

Update 09.23.22 A second colorway of the Nike Dunk Low “Velcro Tongue” has appeared by-way-of official Nike.com imagery, this one delivered with inverted color blocking on the leather upper, nylon tongue, and liners. See for yourself just below, and expect to learn more on this duo of release in the coming weeks.
