The G.T. series has always looked ahead — but the Nike G.T. Future pushes that concept further with a minimalist, slip-on design that strips the traditional basketball sneaker down to its essentials. Now, it arrives in its boldest colorway yet: “Lightning.”

Striking in both silhouette and shade, the G.T. Future “Lightning” features a sleek, shroud-like upper dipped in a vibrant yellow gradient with orange undertones. A slim black Swoosh cuts through the heel, while the outsole and lining follow suit in deep black to ground the look. Built for speed and agility, the G.T. Future houses a sculpted Zoom Air system underfoot, combining ultra-lightweight responsiveness with a bold, futuristic aesthetic.

The laceless construction and form-fitting shell further highlight the model’s emphasis on next-gen innovation — a clear departure from the layered builds of the G.T. Cut and G.T. Jump. Instead, the Future introduces a new silhouette in Nike Basketball’s performance roster, focused on clean lines, seamless fit, and off-the-dribble explosiveness.

The Nike G.T. Future “Lightning” is expected to be released in Fall 2025 via Nike.com and select retailers.
