Nike Basketball has a busy 2026 ahead of itself. To kick things off on the Greater Than side of things, the hoops-focused imprint will launch the G.T. Future in a "Copper"-reminiscent look come February.

Approved by Wale, the silhouette has been widely-lauded for its equal parts retro and futuristic design. The Washington, D.C.-native previously wore the pair during a public appearance, giving netizens a first glimpse at an Air Foamposite One "Copper"-like style. Officially, however, the sneaker is clad in a "Metallic Bronze Red/Black" color scheme.

As with previous launches, the impending G.T. Future sees a tonal execution across its upper, indulging in a shimmering finish in the process. The tongue, outsole, and branding elements throughout the shoe deviate in contrasting tones, but don't detract from the titular hue.

Enjoy early photos of the "Copper" G.T. design ahead. Pairs should release via Nike.com for $200 by Thursday, Feb. 5, according to user @brandon1an on X.
