First Look: Nike G.T. Future "Metallic"
Nike Basketball’s G.T. series has often leaned into performance innovation, but the upcoming Nike G.T. Future “Metallic” takes that concept literally with its bold, space-age aesthetic.
Revealed via Nike SNKRS Showcase in a shimmering silver finish, the model pushes the boundaries of design with a fully molded upper that drapes the silhouette in flowing, almost fabric-like contours. This sculptural look gives the shoe an aerodynamic appearance, highlighted by sharp folds and recessed channels that flow from heel to toe. A black neoprene collar and tongue insert break up the monotone, while the sculpted Swoosh embedded into the lateral heel adds a subtle brand stamp.
Although specific tech details have yet to be confirmed, the G.T. Future is expected to align with Nike’s Greater Than series — a lineup dedicated to elite-level performance. Expect Zoom Air and lightweight foam setups to be underfoot, even if they are hidden beneath the shoe’s seamless, molded skin.
Pairs of the Nike G.T. Future “Metallic” are expected to debut in Fall 2025 via Nike.com and select retailers. No pricing details have been confirmed yet.
