February is the year's shortest month, but it'll be jam-packed with some of its most important moments. From Feb. 13 to 16, the NBA and some of the world's most influential brands will take over California's Bay Area to celebrate All-Star Weekend 2025.

Although much is still under wraps, the Swoosh conglomerate has just shared its plans for the event. Jordan Brand's presence will coincide with the launch of the highly-coveted (and rather limited) Air Jordan 1 '85 'Bred'; Nike will also revisit the past with the mythical 'Galaxy' Foamposite One while celebrating its current cohort of NBA All-Stars with the 'Black Label' collection; Converse and its Creative Director of Basketball, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, have prepped an immersive experience that not only celebrates hoops, but the skateboarding culture that's prevalent in the surrounding area.

For further details on Nike, Inc.'s All-Star Weekend plans, continue reading ahead.

Jordan Brand Celebrates the Bay Area's Basketball Community

It's been 40 years since Michael Jordan signed one of the most culturally impactful and commercially-successful signature sneaker deals of all-time.

As part of its milestone celebration, Jordan Brand will host the Jordan Fam Fest, the ultimate showcase of the label's culture, legacy, and family. The event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 2505 Monarch Street. It's been developed in partnership with Oakland legend Marshawn Lynch.

You'll be able to catch some of the country's best young ballers during the Nike EYBL Showcase on Friday, Feb. 14.

Throughout All-Star Weekend, fans of the Jumpman will also have a chance to enjoy the best of Jordan Brand retail. Different displays and activations will take place at Shoe Palace locations in San Francisco’s Union Square (Feb. 14 to 16) and on Oakland’s Telegraph Avenue (Feb. 11 to 17). Exclusive women's product like the Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn Boot will be available alongside other treats prepped for the Bay Area.

Converse Celebrates Basketball and Skateboarding Culture

Converse is set to make its mark on NBA All-Star Weekend 2025, blending its deep roots in basketball and skateboarding to deliver an immersive experience that celebrates the intersection of sport, style, art, and culture. As part of NIKE, Inc.’s presence in the Bay Area, Converse’s activations will extend far beyond the final buzzer on Feb. 16, leaving a lasting impact on the city.

The centerpiece of Converse’s All-Star Weekend will be an interactive brand experience influenced by its Creative Director of Basketball, NBA All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Located at 300 Grant Ave., just off Union Square, the space will bring fans closer to Gilgeous-Alexander as both an athlete and creator. The activation will feature Converse product customization, exclusive apparel and footwear, and surprise guest appearances on Feb. 15 and 16.

With deep ties to the Bay Area skate community, Converse will also unveil an expansion of the UN Skate Plaza, designed in collaboration with The Skatepark Project (TSP) and the City of San Francisco. Led by Converse CONS rider and MIT-trained architect Alexis Sablone, the redesign introduces skateable art sculptures and improved paving, making the space more accessible and dynamic for skaters of all levels.

To celebrate the revamped plaza, Converse, TSP, and Skate Like a Girl will host a community event on February 15, featuring product giveaways, a trick competition, and demos from Converse CONS team riders. Additionally, the brand will partner with DLX Skateshop for live music, further giveaways, and special programming in honor of National Skate Shop Day.

Beyond its standalone events, Converse will also join Nike and Jordan Brand at Foot Locker’s NBA All-Star experience from Feb. 13 to 16, further solidifying its commitment to both the game and the culture that surrounds it.

    All-Star Weekend Sneakers

Then, there’s the product. Nike is rolling out an exclusive "Black Label" collection of signature footwear for some of its biggest athletes, including LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Ja Morant, Devin Booker, Victor Wembanyama, Sabrina Ionescu, and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Each model in the limited-run series will feature premium materials, elevated designs, and limited runs, making them some of the most anticipated basketball releases of the year.

Beyond signature models, Nike’s All-Star lineup also brings back some of its most legendary releases. The Galaxy Foamposites make their long-awaited return, tapping into one of the most iconic sneaker drops in history. A special "Retro Pack" of Air Force 1s and Dunk Lows will celebrate classic colorways, while the Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 “Bred” and Air Jordan 5 Reimagined lead the charge for Jordan Brand’s retro offerings. And that’s just scratching the surface—expect plenty more surprises throughout the weekend.
