Nike introduce the Air Max 270 Futura

Nike’s 270 Air Unit took off instantly, with the success of the Air Max 270, and to a lesser degree, Air Force 270. Since then, we’ve had a new version of the Air Max, arriving in a Flyknit, but this Air Max 270 Futura marks the first brand-new silhouette,.

The Futura flexes a mix of mesh and nubuck in a clear shout out to Nike’s ’90s trainers. It’s design cues feel all too familiar to older ‘heads, from the tongue pull tabs all the way down to the flipped up outsole at the toe, this has 90’s nike written all over it — with the exception of the Swoosh’s game-changing chunky Air Unit.

One of the first pairs to drop is this blue and grey number, scheduled for release later this fall on Nike.com. They will retail for $140 USD..
