Nike KD 13 “Aunt Pearl” Arrives October 24

Kevin Durant’s annual “Aunt Pearl” editions have produced some of the most sought-after sneakers in his 13-year signature line, but more importantly, they have continues to raise awareness for the perils of breast cancer, and how it can affect one-in-three people the world over. For the tenth time, Durant will use the month of October — Breast Cancer Awareness Month — to drive cancer research funding through a partnership with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund with the KD 13 “Aunt Pearl”

Although KD hasn’t stepped on the hardwood in some time, his 13th signature sneaker has proven to be his most popular in years, as will likely be the case for this Aunt Pear and its respective series of releases. Here, signature awareness hues of pink play the key part, with a pastel pink draping the uppers, tongue, liner, mudguard, and midsole, contrasted by an abalone pearl inspired Swoosh, collar, and sole. The pair is complete with tonal KD embroidery at the heel, and special inner-tongue shoutouts to his late Aunt.
