Kevin Durant and his Phoenix Suns squad might not be having the 2024-25 NBA season they had hoped, but #35 continues to dominate off-the-court with his signature series. His Nike KD 4 from the early 2010s is set to return in its vibrant 'Easter' style soon.
Officially clad in 'Mint Candy/White/New Green,' the festive offering first launched in 2012 to coincide with the springtime Christian holiday. The pair fell in line with some of Durant's other eye-catching, narrative-driven footwear releases of the era. The latest Nike KD retro from the Swoosh's Basketball branch is a one-to-one reissue of the original, delivering a nostalgic product that holds up more than a decade after its debut. Clear through-lines to the current KD 18 signature silhouette aren't available, but it's likely some of the color schemes popularized by Durant's fourth sneaker will surface throughout the 18th design's lifecycle.
Enjoy official photos of the KD 4 'Easter' retro below. Pairs are set to hit retailers like JD Sports on Friday, April 18, for $150. A global Nike.com launch should also take place on this date.
