Nike Basketball's long-anticipated retro run of Kevin Durant's KD 6 is set to take place throughout 2026. The "Aunt Pearl" style from 2014 is expected to launch during the final quarter of the year.
According to Sole Retriever, the pair joins a growing list of beloved Nike, Inc. designs to return before the start of 2027. Other emblematic takes on the Nike KD 6 have already been confirmed for the first-half of the year, but news of the "Aunt Pearl" makeover signals the Swoosh's commitment to helping the current Houston Rockets star's keep his aunt's memory alive.
As with other reissues from the Nike KD line, retros of the KD 6 are expected to land with all the specifications with which they debuted more than 10 years ago. By comparison, the Nike Kobe series offers Performance Retros (Protros), ensuring footwear can meet the needs of today's game.
Stay tuned for firm Nike.com launch details and official photos. Pairs should land before November to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
