Nike’s “Mamba Eterno” story appears to be expanding beyond the Kobe 3 Low Protro, with official images now giving us a detailed look at a bright orange Nike Kobe A.D. Protro expected to this October.
The pair is dressed almost entirely in orange, with deeper Safety Orange accents across the Swoosh, midsole, and translucent heel structure. Kobe branding appears throughout, including his sheath logo on the tongue and heel, while his signature is embroidered around the back.
The biggest connection comes inside the shoe. Mismatched purple and teal sockliners feature “Mamba Eterno” script, tying the Kobe A.D. Protro to the same theme seen on the upcoming Kobe 3 Low Protro. An additional set of purple-and-green speckled laces also brings more color into the otherwise tonal design.
Underneath, the Kobe A.D. Protro keeps the familiar look of the original 2016 model while upgrading the performance setup. Nike has rebuilt the silhouette with React cushioning, a ZoomX unit in the forefoot, heel Zoom Air, an updated midfoot shank, and revised traction designed for modern play.
The orange pair is expected to retail for $155. A firm U.S. release date has not yet been announced, though the pair is expected on October 30 alongside the Kobe 3 Low Protro “Mamba Eterno.”
