Yet another year has passed in Kyrie Irving’s professional career, and although we didn’t get to see much of Kyrie’s signature handles or insane layup package, we were treated to a bevy of beautiful colorways from his sixth signature sneaker. But all good things must come to an end but like a good book, we await the next chapter in anticipation. Today we catch a first glimpse of what’s to come from Irving and Nike, with these images of the Nike Kyrie 7 leaking across the web today.
Once again, the pair carries across significant DNA from those before it, including an Air Yeezy 2-like ankle, ribbed rear overlays, and Flytrap-like midfoot lock-down strap. Kyrie 1-inspired teeth arrive at the forefront show that the pair features Zoom Air up front, while Kyrie branding on the tongue, heels, and outsole with branded insoles and the phrase “His Legacy Is Going To Live Forever” — paying tribute to the late Kobe Bryant — completes the design.
Grab a first look at the Nike Kyrie 7 here below, and you can expect the silhouette to release later this year ahead of the 2020/21 NBA season.
