If Kyrie Irving is known for anything other than his insane handle on the basketball, it’s his spoken word on world peace. An advocate for equality, Irving often takes to social media, post-match interviews, and really anywhere anyone will listen to speak his mind on the world. Now, after the mantra was included in his 2021 Kyrie offerings, it returns this year for what will likely be Kyrie’s last signature Nike sneaker.
Making sure that the message gets through to the next generation, the pair is delivered in a mix of striking, contrasting hues, with orange and green the main perpetrators. YOu’ll see the hues split fairly evenly over the forefoot pattern weave, with outsoles literally split down the middle. Ankle panles and tongues arrive in lightly tumbled orange leathers, with green trim and mudguards serving as a counter. Darker oranges trim the pair’s liners and laces, before gold and beige is introduced at the midsole and heel to complete the coloration. Rounding out the design are co-branded tongues and ankle Swooshes delivered in black.
