It appears that Nike had some big plans for its #LeBronWatch series for the second half of 2020, with the retro sneaker-inspired range with the recently released Billy Hoyle-dedicated “Command Force” colorway— and now this Nike LeBron 17 “Uptempo” that honors Scottie Pippen’s days a Chicago Bull.
While not directly referencing any of the OG colorways from the Uptempo series, it does bring with it some heavy Bulls flavor. In fact, it’s more in-line with this all-new “Alternate Bulls” colorwaythat dropped in the middle of last year. Even then, this pair features more white, with the starkness streaking along the tongue and collar, riding the full length of the midsole. Bold black accents work with the red uppers to provide an unmistakable Bulls make. Linking the colorway back to the Air Max Uptempo 95 is the pull ring tongues and the five-pronged Air Uptempo hoops motif over the forefoot.
