In fact, James didn’t even don seasonal-specifics last year, instead opting for both the LeBron 7 “China Moon” and LeBron 17 “MTAA”.Last night, however, James returns to the holiday hardwood with this special-edition Nike LeBron 18 “Christmas in LA” pair — arguably the most tasteful from his 18-year career.

Arriving clad mostly in semi-deep red, the pair flutters in flecks of white throughout to mimic falling snow, despite it being a rarity in southern California. Elegant metallic gold accents at the midsole’s midfoot work in-hand with the forefoot Swoosh and insoles, while a quick flash of green and the medial Swoosh detail adds a tasteful touch. Underfoot you’ll find an icy-blue translucent outsole flecked with glitter and a completely clear Air pocket speckled with the aforementioned snow effect.
