Since debuting earlier this year, Nike LeBron 18 Low has really struggled to find its own identity. The first-up drop delivered a Ferarri-inspired offering, but since then it’s relied upon reworkings of classic colorways from several Nike departments. Notably, the silhouette has recycled the LeBonald Palmer aesthetic, the Air Max 95 “Greedy”, and even a pair inspired by an 18-year-old atmos collaboration. Soon, we’ll see another, with the lineage set to honor one of ACG’s most legendary trainers, the ACG Terra.
While it omits any ACG insignia and comes constructed in performance-first materials, there is absolutely no mistaking the pair’s inspiration. The very same Fierce Purple hue controls the entirety of the ripstop upper, though it’s contained well at the heel, toe, and forefoot via solid blacks. tongues and rear clips follow the latter’s lead, while vibrant whites at the forefoot sole and Swoosh certainly garner attention. Vibrant golden-yellow hits at the tongue, upper eyelets, heel, and Air support channel the OG, as does the infrequent pops of red throughout. Completing the design is a set of Lakers-inspired LeBron James-branded insoles.
