Gearing up for his 21st professional season, LeBron James has certainly been in beast mode in the build-up. It’s unfair to say that about a man who has been one of the most consistent performers the game has ever seen; He’s always been a beast. Back in 2014, during the peak of Nike Basketball mania, Nike officially noted that notion, as they curated a special-edition LeBron 2 “Beast” PE to celebrate the 10th anniversary of King’s second signature sneaker. Now, the wild sneaker will see its very first retail release, despite both LeBron retros and animal-print pairs not faring well in the recent market.
Despite the reservations, these will still be highly coveted amongst the older generation and devoted James fanbase.
Though no images of the 2023 release have surfaced, you can expect to see a 1:1 replication of the Player Exclusive, including faux zebra and cheetah furs, striking red and gold accents, and sole units of black and off-white.
