The Nike Zoom LeBron 2 from 2004 will get its first-ever re-release in 2022.
For years there have been hints at a LeBron 2 retro, with samples seen on-foot of King James himself mid-last decade. Finally, the retro dream will become a reality, with the return of the silhouette confirmed via industry sources.
Neither Nike nor James have confirmed the return of the LeBron 2.
The design is currently expected to return in September 2022 in the below “USA” colorway, and there is expected to be a handful of colorways to follow in the proceeding months.’
In the past, Nike has retrospectively released past LeBron designs for their respective 10th anniversaries, but on occasion, they have moved outside of this 10-year-barrier and picked sporadic models to re-run, like the LeBron 1 (2017) and LeBron 3 (2020), both of which did not return for their respective 10 year anniversaries.
Release details and first looks at this time are unavailable, but you should expect to learn more as we lean into the new year. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
