Originally reported to be a USA-themed release, it now appears that the white, red, and blue LeBron 7for Spring 2021 has some local LA flavor. Now dubbed the Nike LeBron 7 “Baseball Blue”, the new colorway of the King’s seventh signature sneaker pairs the World Series-winning Dodger franchise with tropical glaze overlays for an unmistakable link to the Boys in Blue. Of course, LeBron himself has been very vocal about the Dodgers’ championship win, so a commemorative sneaker for his neighboring team should come as no surprise.
Previewed earlier this year, the pair has now appeared by-way-of official imagery, showing the aforementioned glaze in detail. Though there’s no direct reference to the franchise, the pair’s contrast red stitching at the inner bootie liner continues the baseball theme. Team colors are found throughout, including white mesh, leather, and translucent, Rush Blue guards, midsoles, and Swooshes, and red branding pops throughout.
A release date for the pair has not yet been set, but there is a strong contention that pairs will be part of the next #LeBronWatch drop, which is scheduled for February 23rd.
